ピアソングループの中でアセスメントチームに属するピアソンVUEは、180 か国以上に安全なテストセンター・ネットワークを持ち、世界中でITや教育分野、あるいは政府関連などのプロフェッショナルな試験プログラムをCBT(コンピューター・ベースド・テスティング)で配信するグローバルリーダーです。

社内での役割と責任

  • 大規模かつ複数年契約の獲得を目的として、ピアソン VUEの幅広いテスト関連サービスをクライアントに販売します。セールスのテリトリーは日本です。

  • プログラムマネジメント部門やオペレーション部門、テクノロジー部門などと連携し、クライアントのニーズを特定してニーズにマッチしたサービスを提供します。セールスリードを創出し、クライアントの試験プログラムに付加価値を与えることで業績を向上させるような試験配信ソリューションを提案します。

  • ピアソンVUEのサービスに適した、あらゆる規模の新しいビジネスチャンスを市場で積極的に発掘し、適切に提案していきます。

  • 必要に応じて、セミナーや展示会、ダイレクトマーケティングなどのマーケティング活動に参加します。

  • 既存のクライアントについても提供可能なサービスを積極的に提案し、ピアソンVUEがクライアントから最大限の収益を得られるようにします。

この役割で成功するための要件

  • 少なくとも 2 年以上のクライアントマネジメント業務の経験

  • (製品ではなく)ソリューションサービスの5年以降の販売実績とその成功実績

  • ソリューションセールスにおけるコンサルティング的なアプローチ能力

  • 見込み客の発掘から契約締結までの一連のセールスライフサイクルの経験

  • 日本語を母語として、日本語と英語によるコミュニケーション能力(口頭とライティング)

About the role: We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for growing Pearson VUE’s business with both existing accounts and new accounts through effective relationship management and successful implementation of a mutually beneficial program. The Business Development Manager is accountable for tracking the renewal of contracts in a timely manner to ensure high-quality service and the satisfaction of clients and will also collaborate with Pearson VUE’s international offices to develop premier business development solutions.

Our team: Assessment & Qualifications - Pearson VUE is a global leader in computer-based testing for information technology, academic, government and professional testing programs around the world with a secure network of test centers in more than 180 countries.

As a (job title), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Responsible for selling Pearson VUE (PVUE) a wide range of testing-related services to their target client base with the objective of winning large, multi-year, multi-service contracts. The defined territory is Japan.

  • Liaise with program management, operations, testing services, and technology teams and will work closely with a pre-sales support team to identify needs and create customized offerings for our clients. Recognise opportunities and propose solutions that improve the client’s business performance and add value for their customers.

  • Proactively seek out and qualify new, both small and large-scale business opportunities that match the PVUE market offerings.

  • Participate in demand generation activities such as seminars, exhibitions, and direct marketing as required.

  • Actively account manage an existing suite of clients and ensure PVUE has the maximum possible revenue from these clients.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • At least 2 years experience of client relationship management

  • A proven services selling track record and able to demonstrate five years of solution selling success in the Commercial Sector

  • A consultative approach to solution definition

  • Experience in the sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract closing.

  • Excellent verbal, and written skills
