Pearson Product Manager (Kids app) in Spain

Mondly is part of our English Language Learning division. Mondly offers high-quality online learning in English and 40 other languages to consumers worldwide via its mobile and web apps, virtual reality and augmented reality products. It has had 100 million downloads worldwide, offering professional and personal language learning in a combination of 1300+ different language pairs.

About the position:

Mondly Kids is the perfect tool for parents who want to introduce their children to a new language in a fun and interactive way. The app is designed specifically for kids, with a user-friendly interface and colourful graphics. It is a family-friendly app for the new generation of language learners.

As a Senior Product Manager for Mondly Kids , you will guide the evolution of our children's language learning product. You will collaborate with our engineering, design, and leadership teams to establish and execute our product vision and strategy. With a keen interest in EdTech and a results-oriented mindset, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of children's language learning at Mondly.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute the product roadmap for children's language learning.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, research, and business teams to develop products that meet our user's needs.

  • Conduct market and user research to stay ahead of the curve in industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings.

  • Identify and prioritise new features and enhancements in line with business goals and user needs.

  • Develop product specifications, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively articulate the product vision.

  • Analyse product performance using data and insights to guide future product decisions.

  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure product development and launch success.

  • Manage product backlog and prioritisation, balancing the needs of the business and technical debt.

  • Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including company executives.

  • Drive innovation and constant improvement, leveraging new and emerging technologies to enhance our products and user experience.

You are the perfect fit for this role if you have:

  • Extensive experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful consumer-facing products.

  • Experience driving cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable products within timelines.

  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and ability to work closely with design teams.

  • Excellent data analysis skills and experience using data to make informed product decisions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects at once.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Prior experience in children's education technology products is a strong plus.
