Job Summary :

As the Manager - Finance Control and Reporting you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to the established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements as to the monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing and its reporting procedures. You will be responsible for the regular financial reporting activities of the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the regular financial reporting process as a second in command to the reporting tower.

  • you’ll be responsible for monthly BS and PL analysis, month end close, financial, regulatory and tax reporting submissions.

  • Using your deep understanding and technical skill in IFRS based financial reporting and the ability to translate commercial business transactions to the correct accounting treatment you’ll also report for new transactions, deals, products, entities, acquisitions or restructures.

  • You’ll take responsibility and ownership over the work performed within the team, ensuring adherence to the timelines and work plan while maintaining high quality deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and keep abreast of changes in the regulatory environment.

  • Develop and implement audit plans, programs, and testing procedures to address identified risks.

  • Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to provide guidance on compliance requirements and best practices.

  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.

  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.

  • Foster a culture of compliance awareness and ethical behaviour throughout the organization.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in audit and compliance management.

  • Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections as required.

  • Provide training and support to employees on compliance matters.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with CA or CMA with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience or having completed intermediate levels of CA or CMA with 6-7 years of post-qualification experience in accounting department of Global MNCs.

  • Proven experience of minimum 5-6 Years in audit, compliance, or a related field, with a focus on internal controls and risk management.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in using audit and compliance management tools and software.
