Job Description:

As a South Institution Relationship Manager at Pearson, your primary responsibility will be to promote the Pearson Test of English (PTE) and establish strong relationships with schools and colleges across the South region. You will be a key contributor in expanding the outreach of PTE by identifying and engaging leads in educational institutions, and fostering partnerships that drive growth and adoption of PTE as a preferred English language assessment tool.

Responsibilities:

This will involve a combination of cold calling, visits, and leveraging existing networks to establish contact with decision makers in educational institutions.

  2. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with institution stakeholders, including administrators, academic heads, English language departments, and relevant faculty. Understand the needs and challenges of each institution and position PTE as a valuable solution.

  3. Promotional Activities: Plan promotional activities, workshops, and events in schools and colleges to raise awareness about PTE, its benefits, and its relevance in the context of English language proficiency requirements for students and staff in accordance with the south sales team across cities.

  4. Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to provide accurate and timely information about potential leads (schools and colleges) and events planned. Collaborate on strategies to identify/foster existing relationships.

  5. Reporting and Data Analysis: Track and report on lead generation activities, engagement, and conversion rates. Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, and use this information to refine the institution relationship strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within the education sector, with a focus on schools and colleges.

  • Strong understanding of the South region and existing relationships with educational institutions as a bonus.

  • Excellent communication, PR and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of PTE to a diverse audience.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Willingness to travel within the South region and occasionally nationally for events, meetings, and lead generation activities.

  • Knowledge of English language proficiency assessments and the competitive landscape is desirable.
